When did the 12 weeks start and when does it end?

Hi
I'm classed as vulnerable due to my previous history of blood cancer. I've received the letter detailing this from the NHS. I've been off work for the past 4 weeks since I checked with my gp surgery if i was more vulnerable to serious complications if i contracted Covid-19. They advised I should be at home and my workplace supported this. Unfortunately, I don't have a job where I am able to work from home although I am desperate to do so. I currently feel and am well and don't normally class myself as vulnerable although I know I am and i must take the necessary precautions. I really want to be able to return to work when the 12 weeks are up but does anyone know the actual date that the 12 weeks ends?

I think start date was 29th March? So 21st June end?
But the statements around it being 12 weeks are very open to change and this time period may well be increased if need be.

Yes Gillian1980 is right. It started about a week after the general lockdown, so they've just finished week 4 and we've just finished week 3.

If I recall correctly it was "12 weeks from receiving this letter" so a bit variable.

I don't think you should rush back to work if the hospitals are overstretched. It's not just that you are vulnerable to getting it more seriously, it's that your prognosis isn't as good, and that will affect clinical decisions.

I think this unofficial lockdown started 23rd March.

Yes it was 23rd March as above. My elderly parents with underlying health conditions started isolating then.

My letter says 12 weeks from the date of the letter, so for me it's 26th June.
