Possible stupid question. Why no recovery stats?

Sorry if I’ve missed something, but I’ve been following worldometer stats daily and wondering why the UK doesn’t have any figures for those recovered? Obviously people are recovering and being discharged...why are the numbers not available as they are for other countries?

And...is the lack of recovery stats giving us an artificially high number of ‘active cases’?

Anyone know?

they were not being tracked or reported accurately with some indecision over the definition of recovered, so they just stopped trying afaik

I read that people aren't tested on leaving hospitals hence lack of stats.
Kind of makes sense (in a negative way) that let say there are only 20K tests available daily and all of them are used on new incoming patients and suspected cases.

Right. God. What a mess.

So what do we mean by ‘active cases’ then? Presumably those actually in hospital?

That wouldn’t go well with the panic narrative.
