Beans or rice or bread

I am wondering what many believe would be a healthier diet?

Beans with some rice?
Beans on toast?
Beans alone?

Do Britains eat more bread (wheat) or rice?

Of course I realise vegetables, fruits and meat are probably necessary, but in case there is a food shortage?

If food is that scarce then filling trumps healthy.

Beans on toast covers more food groups than the other options, especially if the toast is wholegrain and buttered.

But yes, also what PickAChew said if food is scarce.

As the only food to eat?

Beans and whole meal bread with butter.

Beans and wheat grains between them cover the full range of amino acids (proteins).
