Hi,
My husband has asthma, and keratoconus. He's also had cancer about 2 years ago. We expected him to receive a shielded letter but it hasn't come. On April 2 - Sainsburys emailed him to say he had been identified as vulnerable and is getting priority delivery. So we thought oh, he must be on the list but NHS England are very busy getting letters out.
We are thankful that his employer are taking his word for shielding and have not asked for the letter. However yesterday his manager requested the letter - We are ringing his GP on Monday but now I am very concerned and paranoid.
Has any else received an email from the supermarket before they got the shielded letter? I'm so paranoid he won't get the letter. He gets free medication from the NHS (because of his cancer although he is 100% recovered he gets 5 years free prescription and he also gets the yearly flu jab - not sure if this makes a difference)
