Went to bed with a headache (unusual). Woke up sore throat, feeling weak and an achy body. No cough or temp but lots have said they didnt get that. I have anxiety and am now imagining I will be on ICU before the weekend is out as Im overweight.

The truth is that, without a test, nobody knows. Chances are it is hayfever or any of a number of other 'normal' viruses. I've had a headache, sore throat and aches on and off for the last week or so - in my case it's hayfever and was exactly the same last year. Try not to panic.

I also went to bed early with a sore throat and aching limbs. I am just assuming it's a cold but will restrict my movements

That's how mine started but I knew for sure by the following morning. I'm overweight and asthmatic and I recovered very quickly. My dh who is very healthy and fit was poorly (at home) for 3 weeks

Without a cough or temperature, it could just as easily be another bug. We need proper testing so people know.

When you say “lots didn’t get the cough or temperature”, do you mean confirmed cases?
