Shopping (fsm voucher)

Sorry it’s another shopping one. I got the vouchers back for the FSM today (finally) however they can only be used in store, why oh why didn’t they think to give people the option to use online? Dd is in the shielding group and I’m a lone parent, she’s not old enough to be left alone and my local Tesco’s is 1.5 miles away anyway which I walk as I’m not getting on a bus. Anyone else had this issue?

I got a email with from school before they sent me a code to use on that edenred site. It said where u could have them and which was on online. Not many can be use online I know asda do.
Another school got vouchers printed them off and posted them through the door it was 2 for morrisons and 2 for asda which morrisons won't let u use them online. I would contact the school and tell them you will need them to be used online.
They should be able to sort something out.

You can use them online with Asda if you've got their priority slots?

It's such a ridiculous oversight, and I have the exact same problem (shielding + lone parent).

Asda do not deliver here.

I am effectively just going to have to 'bank' them for when we finally get let out, but that's not exactly helpful for cash flow right now is it? Thankfully we're not desperate.

Could you get a community volunteer to do some shopping for you using the vouchers?

I've got some Tesco ones that we've printed to use once we can go out and agree that it seems a useless system for the vulnerable/shielding

We're lucky as have Asda and Tesco deliveries so I've been choosing Asda since the Eden red ones have come out

Although I'm still waiting for this weeks vouchers to arrive that the school ordered on Monday

Feel a bit embarrassed too if I'm honest having to check each week if they've been ordered etc feels likes I'm bothering them
