As we are currently pretty much on lockdown to try and slow the spread of a highly contagious virus, I am wondering if there will be a effect on other less virulent diseases, especially those which have a high level of herd immunity anyway. Could these be eradicated? I suspect it is unlikely but do you have any thoughts or are there any (ideally positive) other effects of the lockdown which you think have not yet been considered.
