Has _anyone_ received a Centerparcs refund?

Sent a Microsoft form in about 3 weeks ago that they requested you filled in to cancel or reschedule. I chose to cancel.

Got NO confirmation email or confirmation of my answers despite it being easy to configure in MS Forms.

Heard NOTHING back since... has anyone heard anything from Center Parcs or got a refund processed?

Nope. And the cancellation email didn’t include the correct amount either.
All record of the booking has been erased from our CP account.

Luckily we paid by credit card as I suspect we may be relying on that for a refund.
I genuinely think lots of organisations will be unable to repay and only offer to reschedule (as has already happened in some European countries).

Might also be worth looking into your travel insurance although expect they’ll direct you to CP.

I had been quite impressed with how center parcs dealt with the situation but getting slightly concerned now

I would imagine they are just snowed under with a reduced staff. I am sure you will get your refund.

I had an email explaining they are putting new procedures in place with their staff working from home and would contact me the week I was due to travel which will be next week

just had an email from them, buried in the middle was an acknowledgement that they haven't been processing refunds very quickly and are trying to improve

Florida - we were supposed to travel 10 days ago and still nothing...

Expect they are inundated but neither have they actually said we will be refunded within X weeks/months.
I do think the travel industry is waiting to see what support they may get from Govt first.

They have skeleton staff on and are slowly getting through them. We've had payments back for activities and have heard the holiday will be refunded soon. I think they've done ok considering

We were due to go week before Easter. I filled the form in to reschedule for end of July and only got an email last week confirming this is done.
However they are saying all the activities etc are booked on 'another system' so they can't refund yet...
So they owe me about £500 for all the stuff booked for April and now ive spent the same again for end of July in case we end up going...
I think they are trying to hang on to as much money as they can for as long as they can.

Mummy and downy - that’s positive...or possibly negative (for us) as we’ve heard nothing at all. And they didn’t record the activities payment either.

Think they’re overwhelmed...could mean some refunds slip through the system.

We got ours but applied very quickly.

We were due to go on March 20th, which was the day they closed so maybe that's why we have heard already. They have paid activities back but they have a different team of skeleton staff dealing with the holiday. We will get it back so I'm just waiting for a nice surprise to put towards a holiday next year

We were due to go on the 3rd April and the refund came through on the 8th to give you an idea of timescales. We hadn’t booked anything in advance

For anyone struggling with CP refunds or change of dates, get onto their FB page and message them that way. They’ve done a fantastic job for me and that seems to be their main and preferred method of communication atm I think.
