Did I turn 90 overnight? Today I'm looking forward to Bargain Hunt, a nice walk around, nap, dinner then bed...

Been furloughed.

If I wasn't so terrified about getting the virus, losing my job, my sons futures.... I might be enjoying this.

I feel like we are in some weird limbo. I know it's going to end eventually but what will it be like. DD is due to start Uni in Sept, will she get there? Will DH have any work to go back to? I work in a school and have been told I'm only doing 1 day a week from next week until we go back properly. In the meantime we're sitting in the garden enjoying the sunshine every day, watching crap on the telly. It seems to be on an endless loop.

Hi ssd waves

I know what you mean, I’ve been working my way through an old Arrowwords puzzle book I found while clearing stuff out - I bought it because it reminded me of my grandma, who always had one on the go. That and my daily jigsaw puzzle app are the highlights of my day!

Hi Naemates! I forgot to add, before Bargain Hunt we now sit outside, weather permitting, and enjoy a frothy coffee 😊😊, dh and ds thank you too!!

It is such a weird time isn't it, sort of relaxing limbo but always anxious about the future...

DH and I are retired, early sixties.

Lockdown is very much like retirement, pottering about, doing odd jobs, gardening, housework and laundry. Having time for long lunches and home cooked dinners.

Apart from holidays, day trips and golf, our day to day lives are pretty much the same as they ever were. And we are very thankful for that, we know others are struggling for various reasons.

I have great respect for those still working, bringing up children and sympathies for anyone worrying about jobs and finances.

Hourly I have the same dilemma:

Tea in the garden or tea in the Conservatory.

FYI it is presently garden listening to Jeremy Vine.
