Worried about easing lockdown when living with older relative

Anyone else in the same boat? Dh and I (both 30)plus 2 kids (1 school age). We live with an older relative who is 67 and has high blood pressure, overweight. They are very worried about catching the virus. They work but have been furloughed until end of May. What do we do when the kids are meant to go back to school and dh back to work before that ? (My work is in events and I’m sure they will be cancelled until the autumn at least) so I will be at home for the foreseeable but it feels wrong to deprive dc1 of school, and are we allowed to keep our dc off even? Dh is low risk as his office is tiny. I can’t believe they seem to think that schools won’t spread it. Every virus we have all caught Over the last 3 years has been from dc, why would this be any different? What does everyone else plan to do? Sorry message is a bit rambled.
