I’m sure I read on here that rules/guidelines have changed regarding disabled people and that if you are disabled or caring for a disabled person you are now allowed to drive somewhere that allows them/yourself to exercise.

Can anyone link me to an article or video announcement on this please?

@ZeroSumTrap

WTF?

Out of order.

Bool · 16/04/2020 20:27

@ZeroSumTrap it is that kind of stupidity that basically backfires on the police. They need to be careful. How on earth have they not read the rules themselves? Or have they read them and enjoy making up arbitrary rules? Goodwill will turn against them if stories like this keep coming out.

They want to make sure people haven't escaped into the country to form a resistance when they move in with their armoured cars and tanks and guns.

Now govt saying we can drive to exercise provided 'time spent exercising exceeds driving time'.

Salmonpasta · 17/04/2020 09:42

@dogsdinnerlady.

The Government never said we couldn't. It was overreaching Police Officers and MNetters that said that. Hence the need for it to be spelled out for the Police and the public.

I know Salmonpasta....Never overestimate the abilities of the lowest common denominators.
