For anyone who was watching, my kid went a bit crazy at one point, so wanted clarify what he actually said. A female journalist asked him about the number of tests a day, and why are we so behind what he promised and not on track with the 100 000 a day he aimed at at the end of the month. He mumbled something about how we're hitting the targets and how we test more than he promised (???) and then didn't even give her a chance to ask a follow-up question everyone else had and quickly moved onto the next person- that's how it sounded to me at least, but again, I was eyeing the TV with one eye and supervising DD with the other, so was wondering if someone had a chance to listen to him a bit more carefully?
