Feeling really annoyed and resentful about people not complying with the rules

No matter how you look at it, we are in a really serious situation. Lots of people are dying, the economy is down the drain. In my case, I will probably lose my job and my dd is losing out on valuable schooling.

So I really don’t understand why do many people I know - who I think are nice, intelligent, reasonable people - seem to think none of this is their concern and are going out of their way to bend the rules. Lots of people I know are allowing their children to socialise for example. Why is that ok? If everyone did that, what is the point of the lockdown?

Yes I know what you mean, my neighbours had grand children round today, and there is a bench opposite my house which seems to attract loads of teens that have been hanging out there in big groups for the last few weeks. It’s very annoying when people think the rules don’t apply to them.

It is extremely selfish.
