Anyone with a laser cutter or 3D printer making face shields?

My local hospital is desperate for face shields and I'm just waiting to hear if they would accept non-medical/uncertifed PPE.

There are several designs freely available, just waiting on the go ahead and then I'll be ordering material.

Anyone else making them? If so, how are you getting on and how many are you making a day?

My local high school design dept is making them I don't know the details but seems like they are taking them.

I've seen these made locally to me. If no one posts here then have a look on Facebook as there are groups with templates online and they're issuing to hospitals and care homes

My DS is printing face shields for 3dcrowd.uk . They take orders too and have local distribution centres now. Hopefully they can help?

Wow, incredible stats!. I have a laser cutter, so no 3D printing involved.

It's great to see schools getting involved. I'm hoping to do a couple of hundred in between orders and childcare.
