Running

Are many others still exercising outdoors right now?

I live rurally and rarely see anyone while running. However yesterday a family were ambling along the lane and refused to move over to social distance. It’s made me nervous to go again!!

I am running every other day very rurally but I rarely see anyone. If I came to a family blocking the road I'd say excuse me and walk past.

Yes I said excuse me as I ran towards them. They’d turned to see me coming, and carried on blocking the entire lane. So I shouted ‘excuse me!!’ And she replied ‘hello?’ As if I had a problem!! Dd was with me and is sure we had 2m but I’m not so sure. It was close. Which has made me now feel vulnerable and pissed off for trying to stay healthy

I have stopped running as it was too hard to keep a distance. Making do with Joe Wicks with the kids which is not the same, but will keep me ticking over.
I live in the suburbs

I usually slow to a walk if I see anyone else. Noone needs me huffing and puffing past them.

Maybe slow down to get your breath then walk by fast holding it if there isn't room?
