Coronavirus Worldometer Recovery Question?

Daft question probably but since the past 2 weeks, I have been checking our recovery number and it hasn't budged. It was 135 recovered 2 weeks ago and still the same to this date. I see a difference in other countries recovery numbers almost everyday except the UK. Is there any reason to this?

It’s because the UK don’t report the figures. To report recovered you need to test people again to check if they’re still positive. As tests are limited and someone is obviously better, it’s a waste of a test. I know loads of recovered people - including at least one in the shield group, only one of whom was tested in the first place (NHS) but none who have had another test to say ‘recovered’.

For every death, there are around 100 to 300 recoveries. See below

“Scientists studying the town at the epicentre of Germany's first major outbreak said they had found antibodies to the virus in people who had shown no symptoms and were not previously thought to have been infected.

Initial results released on Thursday suggest as many as 15 per cent of the town may already have immunity — three times as many as previous estimates.
