Neighbours have family guests

I can't believe my retired neighbours have got their kids and grandkids with them next door. Small village, lots of older people who are vulnerable. Surely this is so selfish and risky? Why do people think the fkg rules don't apply to them because it's Easter? Their kids live in London and we are rural so effectively high chance of bringing the virus here.

Call the police on the non urgent number. See what they say and let us know,

HappyHammy · 09/04/2020 19:35

Yep report.

Will the police care? I think they would respond if it was a larger scale gathering or actual party.

That's what I think. Maybe they've decided to all self isolate together. I feel like a curtain twitcher and should mind my business...

Report them OP. People need to take this seriously. I just watched as a take away delivery driver went to my neighbours door and was placing her bag on the door step and steadying the fanta bottle (he hadn't even knocked yet) and she opened the door, bent down cm's from his face and took the bag out of his hand. He jumped back then walked away shaking his head. They need to have a minute to leave the items on the door step then they will knock and walk away and wait at the end of path to watch you collect it. She's such an idiot

Tread carefully. Would it be obvious who has reported them? If so, would lead to disharmony at best/possible revenge tactics. Won’t be a fun atmosphere to live in.

In my street there are three adult neighbours playing hopscotch in the middle of the road...I kid you not!
