My baby started with a cough and a snotty nose 2 days ago. Last night she woke around midnight red hot to touch, I took her temp it was 38.8 gave her some calpol and that brought it down to 36.7. Seemed fine this morning but was really sleepy around lunch time, woke for a bottle but went straight back to sleep after. Took her temp and it was 37.9 and was red hot to touch again. Calpol once again brought it from to about 36.8. Has anyone else experienced Coronavirus symptoms in babies? Obviously I've been on the nhs website for advise but just wanted to see if I should be worried or if it's just a strong cold....

Given her age, I'd be tempted to call 111 or even your local surgery?

My baby had a cough and a temperature so I rang 111 because the coronavirus 111 online is not for young babies.
I suggest you do the same.
We were told to self isolate for 2 weeks so we did.

Thank you, going to ring -111 I just assumed they would say to self isolate which we have been anyway with her been soo young.

Do you have enough calpol OP? Your poor little one Thanks

We have about half a bottle, I never use it only ever when she had her jabs. All shops round me still don't have it back in stock! Not needed to give her anyone yet her temp has stayed around 37 ish. Scary times!
