Sudden extreme fatigue?

I've had a slight upset stomach today and extreme fatigue. Like nothing I have experienced before. My bones feel tired. Holding my phone up is making my arms hurt?!

Is this a Covid symptom?

Myself and my children have been isolating for 5 weeks now. I've only left a few times for shopping and the vets once where the vet came out to us in the carpark.

But my partner is a key worker :(

Is this likely to turn into anything more or is it not a symptom? Thanks!

I was the same yesterday with an awful headache that paracetamol did nothing for. Felt like a flu was coming on. I'm still feeling a bit shaky today but no progression and no headache. I have left the house once a week since lockdown for quick fresh food top ups only and have been crazy obsessive about hygiene so Hmm

The fatigue is strange. Like my hips/thighs and arms too. I've not felt like this anytime I can remember!

I was shaky yesterday but put that down to lack of sugar.

Hope you feel better soon!

I had these symptoms early last month and yes they are symptoms of it but until we're all tested we'll never know for sure.

Following with interest as I too feel absolutely exhausted today and my head is awful, headache came on suddenly around 2pm and is getting steadily worse Sad

I've most certainly had/got it and extreme fatigue and muscle weakness are definitely a symptom but they also occur in normal flu, so it is hard to say. Treat yourself as if you do have it, regardless.

We are now isolating as I have had a killer headache and extreme fatigue plus a cough for two days. No temperature at ALL though which is making me feel a bit like I’m taking the mick causing my partner to be off work for a fortnight. It is the clear guidance though....!

Think I read last week that there have been no flu cases for about 2-3 wks so they think flu season is over. Anything with flu like symptoms now will probably we corona virus.

catsandlavender · 09/04/2020 19:38

Are you sure it’s not hayfever? I feel totally wiped out with it sometimes, but the upset stomach doesn’t fit in. I just get that sometimes too randomly Grin

ShastaBeast · 09/04/2020 19:39

I had this with headache and sore throat and slightly snotty nose. Assumed it was post exam exhaustion and a cold. Three days later it went to my chest and the cough was like occasional throat clearing. It got worse a few days after that. No fever but chills and hot flushed face now and then.

AlfieandAnnieRose · 09/04/2020 19:40

Same here, I had put the headache down to being in the sun and the bone aching tiredness because of being anaemic Confused
But it’s odd that other people are feeling the same

DrAdmin · 09/04/2020 19:49

I’d a blinding headache today too not shifted with paracetamol either (ibroprohen (sp?) worked though) and I was very tired, legs and arms heavy. No temperature

Is it maybe something to do with being cooped up inside or something? Stress? I’ve been working out a lot more, maybe it’s that?

CheesyHousePlant · 09/04/2020 22:39

I had that for about 3 weeks. Tiredness like no other. A few wierd symptoms, feeling peakuly but no temperature, a day of aches, lung pains/twitches, a day or two of headaches. Stayed in and took vit c and d every day and felt better eventually.
