Boris is improving!

I know this thread will probably turn into political stuff.
But I am heartened to learn that Boris is sitting up and engaging with his medical staff.
It's not about the politics, it's about morale at uncertain times.
We need some good news.

I wish him well, I hope he rests and makes a full recovery.

Hope so come on boris!

Who knows how accurate the information we're getting on Boris is.

All I can say is I hope he gets well soon.

I sincerely hope this isn't that phenomenon that seems to happen in some covid patients, where they perk up for a while before getting very unwell.

@Rocketmam,I don't think they would say he was improving unless they were certain.
What would that achieve?
We are in crisis. Many nations are. They won't boost our morale only to deflate us.
This virus is unpredictable. The doctors treating him are some of the best in the world. They wouldn't dare delude us at such a time of crisis.
Doctors always deal in facts. They don't give false hope. They say he is improving. He is sitting up and engaging. That means he isn't flat, on oxygen.
Let's take the positives, in this horrible time

I think if what they’re saying today is true, he was taken to ICU at a level of sickness that wouldn’t warrant ICU for other coronavirus patients (and fair enough, you have to be super cautious with the PM). And as he hasn’t declined since, there is a good chance he’s going to make a full recovery, which is a good thing for the country.
