Why can’t people dispose of their gloves properly?

I go for a walk every day (as I usually do as I have a dog) and I have noticed over the last few days there are more and more disposable gloves on the roadside and grass verges, are people just hurling them out of their car windows?
I don’t live in a particularly built up area with only around 2,000 in my village so this must be even worse in larger areas.
Why can they not put them in the bin, what’s wrong with people? Do they think because they are ‘disposable’ gloves that makes them biodegradable?

Why are they discarding them at all? Assuming they are being used for Covid protection, they could be removed and set aside somewhere safe for a week and then reused, any virus on them will have died.

There is such a shortage that chucking them away seems a bit premature right now.

I assume it's the same mindset as people who are just throwing away plastic bags now.

Probably the same people who tie their bags of dog shit to trees and bushes.

It's the people who normally leave their McDonalds wrappers all over the place.

Obviously they can't do that right now, so they're just using whatever they have to hand so they can carry on being a disgusting selfish twat.

nellythenarwhal My house has a footpath alongside it, someone has thrown a huge bag of crap at one of the trees and it now just hangs there about 7 foot up, swinging in the breeze - lovely!

theres a specific way to remove surgical gloves so you contain any infected material
They should really be classed as clinical waste - not just chucked onto the ground like they are here

Unless you wear them remove them and dispose of them properly it’s a waste of time and money and could result in someone else getting infected when they have to remove them from hedges and roadsides

Probably 90%+ of glove and mask usage by the general public will achieve very little except make the wearer feel a bit better, but possibly more complacent - it's OK to get close to people as I'm wearing a mask and gloves.

Masks not over noses, not fitting properly, worn for too long.

Gloves not changed after they've become contaminated, touching faces and items which are then handled by other people, and yes, not removed or disposed of properly.

Bit off topic but I find it quite funny watching people take off their masks to smoke.

I just can’t see how all this PPE makes much difference to the general population really? I doubt anyone is using/disposing of it correctly.
