Gas safety checks

Can anyone help me with this issue
DM is 81 and in sheltered accommodation she also has Alzheimer’s
I have not seen her other than to drop of shopping and converse with her at same time more than 2m away
Today she has had a letter from her social landlord insisting they call to inspect and service her boiler or they will take legal proceedings!
I just rang them and they refuse to back down and says it’s allowed
DM is one of the stay in for 13 week people
Plus her property is so small she would have to open door to let them in and then go into back garden to be more than 2m away!
I don’t think she would understand
Can anyone send any links that I can use to argue with them about this

Here is some guidance, OP.

While it is in her interests to have the gas safety check, it is worrying they have quoted legal proceedings.
