Furlough question if anyone can help?

Morning all
I work in HE and was told yesterday that a lot of us will be furloughed from next week for three weeks (in the first instance). I am one of the staff being furloughed and we will be getting 100 percent of our salary. My question is that I have annual leave booked for next week but I don’t know if I’m now entitled to cancel this and carry it over - as I essentially don’t need to take it anymore.
We haven’t had any communication on furloughing from our HR as yet and my manager also hasn’t had any formal information from HR (her only discussion has been with a senior manager on the decision making team) she did raise this question but didn’t receive an answer.
I’m not sure whether to tell my manager I’m just going to cancel it or just take the leave and ‘put up and shut up’ as I’m getting my full salary and I should be grateful for that.
Has anyone had any experience of furlough and annual leave over the last couple of weeks? Or can maybe offer some advice? I can’t find anything conclusive online.
Thanks.

We were all told any a/l was automatically cancelled during furlough. Don’t know if that’s just our company rules or government, but I can’t see how any company can hold you to a/l if you’re being paid by the government in effect.

As far as I’m aware all annual leave booked whilst you’re under furlough should be automatically cancelled. You also continue to accrue leave at the normal rate throughout furlough too
