If you get the 12 week letter does your employer have to pay you sick pay?

He’s been there 25 years and had 2 months off last year signed off by the gp.

If he is self isolating he can claim SSP but full/partial company sick pay is up to the conditions of that employment. Some companies pay it and some don't

Two weeks must use holiday. The other 10 weeks are 100% pay

I got the 12 week letter and then did a online go appointment requesting a sick note to cover this time and I’ll be getting full pay

There is no must. Check your contract.
