Ds cough for 3 weeks

My ds is 6yo hes had a cough for 3 weeks now, its not getting worse but not getting better? It's not dry, he does it more in the morning then tends to ease off for rest of the day. He's now saying his tummy aches, theres no temp and apart from today with the tummy he's been completely fine. Should I ring gp/111 or does it sound like normal cough/cold? Sorry if overreacting, all sense of my normal reasoning seems to have left me atm
