Could I use a sanitary towel instead of kitchen roll?

If I made a home- made mask?

Because I have quite a few spare sanitary towels Which I no longer need and not a lot of kitchen roll. Also the sticky back would keep it in place better

Yes.

Would you be able to breath through it?

This reminds of when local builders would send clueless apprentices into chemist shops to ask for Dr Whites facemasks with the loops.

Oh good lord.

I think you'd need to take the waterproof layer out of it. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to breathe at all through it.

If you had a clean once, a vacuum cleaner filter might work.

We're going to have people walking around with those giant office water dispensers on their heads, aren't we?

To think only months ago we laughed at the pad-face and nappy-face people. How the mighty have fallen.
