8 week cough that has turned from chesty to dry then back to chesty?

Bit concerned that the cough that has hung about from early February (after a pretty bad dose of a flu like virus) is changing which could mean I have symptoms of the virus.

The cough started out as dry, very violent and hard to stop after 5 days of very high temp, chills and sweats (not really muscle ache). It then hung about as more of an ‘ahem’ throat clearing thing until about a month ago where I got a VERY snotty nose and mucousy, chesty cough. Then two weeks ago a sore throat started which cleared up within a few days but I’ve been left with a tickly cough which is now turning mucousy again!

I could assume that this is a chronic cough from the illness in Feb or should I be worried that I’ve got symptoms of CV now too? Have only been to Tesco twice a week for the last 3 weeks. DC all at home for the same time as me. DH is a keyworker(not NHS).

No fever but I understand there doesn’t have to be one?
