I'm sure there are many threads on this but I wanted it let anyone know who has registered as being in the shielding group after getting a letter from the government that 1 weeks later we've had a food parcel.
It contains,
2 x loo rolls
1 mini bottle of hand soap,
Several individual sachets of coffee,
4 x tomato soup,
2 x tinned tomatoes,
2 x tinned peas,
1 x pack spaghetti,
1 x tuna pasta bake sauce,
2 x tin tuna,
1 x pack five rolls
1 x family box of wheetos
1 x large box of pears
1 x large bag of apples
2 x cartons of long life milk
It says in the letter that it is for DC1 who is the shielded member of the family but if we were really struggling I could make us all breakfast, lunch and a dinner out of it and we're a family of 6.
Hopefully things bring some comfort to someone who has resisted in England.
