We need to fight this virus.

It's likely many of us will get it at some point - Lockdown cannot last forever and this virus is going nowhere, not until a vaccine is made available anyway.

We need to be fit and healthy to fight Covid - 19 off. We need strong hearts and lungs.

So don't just stay in. Use your daily allowance of exercise to get as fit and healthy as possible and this will take the strain off the NHS and #Save Our Nation.

Good advice

Good advice. I'd add that people should take full advantage of the internet. There are some fantastic home exercise resources online. Including for the housebound and those who don't have full mobility.

Agree I’m making a real effort now. Being fit can only help. I’ve started working out every day and can see improvements already.

Totally agree. I was always fairly active but I had laced a bit since Christmas and over indulged. I am using the time to focus on my health and fitness, it’s working and I feel great.

Agreed, OP. Doing your best to quit smoking and keeping alcohol consumption moderate is also a good idea.
