WHOrganisation advice on 14 day self isolation

Someone told me that yesterday a nurse posted on twitter that the World Health Organisation are recommending that Anyone who has symptoms should self isolate for 14 days not just 7. I have searched for both her twitter which included a video and also the Who website. I think it's true and more up to date than nhs guidelines. If anyone has seen this info and could post it on here I'd be very grateful. My dh now has it. Am trying to convince him to stay apart from me and our dcs but he's adamant he will be coming out after 7 days. I'm bricking it as I obviously don't want my dcs or me getting it.

So I guess no one knows /seen what I'm referring to then?

Not seen what you’re referring to but even the people speaking for Boris have said he’s staying isolated longer as he’s still unwell. Apparently people remain contagious for several days after symptoms disappear (I’ll try and link that in a minute)

It looks as well as though some people recover after a week or so but many people seem to take a turn for the worse after about 9 or 10 days...keep a close eye on him then
