Woke up this morning with sore throat, headache and feeling very tired. Breathing is okay. It's kind of pain in my head, neck and ears. I'm terrified in case it is CV, scared I might have to go hospital and leave dc. Please tell me I will be okay. Hoping it is a stress headache

I think most of us now or second guessing every different feeling in our bodies, please don't panic. Even if you did happen to have it it's very unlikely you would need hospital treatment as most people have a mild/moderate version if the virus. I have honestly had a headache and have been more tired every day, I think it's a bit of stress/anxiety and being with children full time is hard work perhaps making me more tired. Don't watch the news tonight, get the kids to bed and have a relaxing evening where possible. Do something you enjoy to try and take your mind off things Smile I hope you feel better soon!

Look at the lungs threads.. Or perhaps don't.

What a silly comment

@Tiddlytubbies thank you. I do think this is anxiety/stress but can't stop thinking.

Do you get hayfever? I've freaked myself out a few times recently thinking I have CV because I have had a sore throat, a bit of a cough and I've felt tired. I completely forgot that I get like this every year from March onwards because of hayfever. Grin Maybe your headache is a stress one, or due to a stiff neck?

I’ve had a sore throat, intermittent cough, body aches, upper back pain and chest tightness for 2 weeks now. Also had diarrhoea, no appetite and fatigue. Don’t know if it’s CV or another winter virus but I’m also a single mum. It is worrying but I haven’t got any worse, don’t seem to be getting better very quickly either! Best thing to do is keep your fluids up, take vitamin D and rest. You can’t do anything else and you’ll make yourself crazy if you overthink things too much. Flowers

I know three people who all had something like that and all recovered. Two were in the at risk category. All just slept a lot and are fine now.
