Support Thread for Solo Self-Isolators

I wondered if we could start a support thread for those of us self-isolating alone or as single parents with small children. I’ve seen a few threads now where people have asked for support and are getting some quite scathing replies from people who have different challenges.

I thought it could work a bit like the Stately Homes thread in Relationships where we can share resources or just commiserate with each other.

I’m self-isolating alone and I find it bloody hard. Doesn’t mean I don’t respect the importance of doing it but I’d like to be able to vent about it without someone plopping in to tell me that I have it easy.

Apologies if this has already been suggested, if it has let me know and I’ll ask for a deletion.

I'm not a solo isolator but didn't want to see your thread ignored.
It must be unbelievably tough but hang on in there.

A very good idea for a thread. I'm self isolating alone and more than happy about it but I really feel for those with young children, I can only begin to imagine how hard it must be. Any support from others in similar circumstances would, I am sure, be welcome, plus the space to vent if they want to without criticism.
