Does anyone know how his health is and how he’s doing?

OP posts:
NeverTwerkNaked · 05/04/2020 23:39

I think he has been a disastrous prime minister but I still hope he recovers.

browzingss · 05/04/2020 23:39

Although I don’t like the man I do hope he makes a full and speedy recovery, and I really hope that this spurs him to make some effective changes in our fight against COVID. A month ago he was more than happy for many Brits to die to the virus, essentially saying it may be inevitable that we will bury someone Hmm hopefully now that he’s experienced it first hand he’ll be more proactive.

KenDodd · 05/04/2020 23:42

What do you mean by 'panic'? A couple of posters have mentioned panic, genuinely can't picture what you mean by this. Who would be panicking and what would that look like? Even if he died, it would be very sad and shocking, but somebody else would just take over.

stopandListen · 05/04/2020 23:44

Almost every post starts by saying you can't stand him, don't like him blah blah then go on to wish him well 🤣

I'm

stopandListen · 05/04/2020 23:46

Posted too soon, I like him AND I wish him well

stopandListen · 05/04/2020 23:48

@KenDodd I think panic is a good word to use!

As if the country needs more stress and bad news to deal with Confused

Sammymommy · 05/04/2020 23:49

"What do you mean by 'panic'? A couple of posters have mentioned panic, genuinely can't picture what you mean by this."

Panic because people will realise this virus is no joke and be terrified to get it?

Panic because we are in the middle of a pandemic, a worldwide lockdown, Brexit and we really don't need to lose the PM and the instability that would follow

Panic because it would slap the reality and gravity of the situation in our faces?

KenDodd · 05/04/2020 23:56

So you mean it will shock and frighten people?

I imagine people running around screaming when the word panic is used.

BishopBrennansArse · 05/04/2020 23:57

I can't see how it's precaution. At the moment the safest place to be is not in the hospital. He's there because he needs to be there, this won't be minor.

I despise his politics and the way he has conducted himself outside of politics too.

Still wouldn't wish anyone dead.

Sammymommy · 05/04/2020 23:58

Panic : sudden uncontrollable fear or anxiety, often causing wildly unthinking behaviour

There you go

stopandListen · 06/04/2020 00:00

@Sammymommy well said, think ken is taking it too literally 🤣

AnyFucker · 06/04/2020 00:02

I think ken is taking the piss

SouthWestmom · 06/04/2020 00:24

From The Telegraph this evening (the tests question)

The Prime Minister has been admitted to hospital for "precautionary tests", here are some of the types doctors could be running.
Dr Rupert Beale, Group Leader, Cell Biology of Infection Laboratory, Francis Crick Institute, said:
“Doctors will be monitoring important vital signs such as oxygen saturations. They will also check blood tests to see what the immune response to the virus looks like, and to assess liver and kidney function.
"They will perform an electrocardiogram (ECG) to check the heart. More sophisticated tests may include a CT scan of the chest to get an accurate picture of the lungs. They will consider the best way to deliver oxygen, and will also consider other treatments depending on test results.
“We are in a struggle between humanity and a deadly virus. Whatever your politics, we are all on the same side. I wish the Prime Minister a speedy recovery.”

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 06/04/2020 00:27

I don’t think he was happy at the thought of people dying. Merely pressing home the point that this wasn’t just a pesky little cough.

Preparing people for the worst was the only right thing to do.

LesLavandes · 06/04/2020 00:38

Very strange messages here

adiposegirl2 · 06/04/2020 00:47

You den of absolute vipers! He is a human- the world is in the midst of a pandemic: show compassion. If you cannot, say nothing at all.

Some of you really need to examine your hearts and minds: you will all know someone who will die of this, heck some of you may die yourselves some have recovered.

Easilyanxious · 06/04/2020 01:58

Yet just a few weeks ago practically everyone had be kind splashed all over there Facebook etc

Easilyanxious · 06/04/2020 01:59

I for one hope he gets well soon as I would wish anyone to recover from this

PotholeParadise · 06/04/2020 02:18

As well as Carrie, Johnson has five children, the youngest of whom is 10 or 11.

Thinkinghappythoughts · 06/04/2020 03:09

Not wishing to be mean about a sick man (which seems to be allowed if it's your neighbour, but the most powerful person in the country). How do you know how kids he's got? That information is not in the public domain as far I know.

Thinkinghappythoughts · 06/04/2020 03:10

*not

Thinkinghappythoughts · 06/04/2020 03:10

*many (sigh!)

PotholeParadise · 06/04/2020 03:18

Officially, he is known to have five children.

Paddlinglikehell · 06/04/2020 04:05

Poor Boris, I hope he improves, whatever your politics, t wouldn’t have his job for the world.

I’ve been in awe of them all getting back so quickly, I’m on Day 16 and can hardly talk two words without a coughing fit. How Boris managed his selfie talk and how the others can stand up without a cough between them is amazing.
