What are the rules re exercise??

Hey everyone
Just wanted to clarify are there any rules on how long it is acceptable to be outside exercising?
I live in NE London in a converted flat, no access to outside space. I have been going out for a walk with the kids, usually before 9.30. Walking for about 5k over the marshes.
Then later on in the day, about Dusk, I have been going for a 5-7k run by myself. Always observing the social distancing rules, only going out with my children or husband, or alone, never meeting anyone outside our family. But I’ve started to see things appear online that suggest you should be out for less than an hour a day. I haven’t been able to find any official guidance stating this so wanted to clarify on here? Any advice appreciated.

I am very clearly saying "guidelines" or "rules". I'm not saying they are law.

It is what government are strongly advising us to do. And yes, the guidelines do say you should only go out once a day for exercise. Very clearly.

You might say I don't care about you getting PTSD yet you also demonstrably don't care about the effects that it's having on me, so pot calling the kettle black.

And yes, I very much care about NHS workers. Many are my friends and ex colleagues.

@Spikeyball - Macron, in the newspaper linked to earlier said that people with autism were going to be given limited permission to visit somewhere familiar and safe to them. It's not a policy for people with autism to just go out, anywhere. According to the article it's a place that is familiar to the individual. That's why I'm asking. Where is that likely to be, given that everywhere is closed?

Guidelines say once a day for exercise - not once a day in total. 'No exceptions.'

You do this deliberately. Or you're a narcissist. Or so, so thick. I'll hide this thread among so many others that you've derailed and made all about you and what you think other people should be doing - to make YOUR life better.

I'm sure i'll see you again though.

I haven't said it's once a day, full stop. People are arguing all over MN that they can go out once with their children, then once for themselves, then a couple of times to walk the dog...

Have you noticed I haven't once attacked or insulted you yet you somehow think it's fine to chuck insults at me left, right and centre. I sincerely hope you don't work in any health or social care capacity.

Hearhoovesthinkzebras it could be an early morning trip to a wood that is outside of the distance people are are allowed to travel to. Somewhere they go to regularly that makes them feel calm.

But how many people would this apply to and how many people would their familiar place no longer be available because it's closed?
