Just that, really.
They have all disappeared in my area.
What happens if there are are ‘gatherings’ of homeless - where are they moved to, during the crisis?

The big issue will be sold in stores for now . I don’t know what happen to homeless people who are gathering . The police must have to disperse big groups / direct to hostels etc . I though the government wanted all the homeless off the streets during the crisis.

But if there aren’t enough hostel beds normally, where are they ending up?

YHA have opened up their city centre hostels to rough sleepers. I believe this was part of a coordinated effort that involved many accommodation providers.

Homeless are being put up in hotels.

Councils were suppose to get them off the street last weekend.

Most councils didn't succeed as lots of hotels that are open refuse to take homeless people.

Once significant numbers are off the street a tighter lockdown can happen.

Oh, that’s great! Some positives coming out of this...

A friend of a friend is long term homeless and he’s one of a group of homeless people who sleep at Heathrow Airport. Still loads of homeless people sleeping there up until a few days ago, I think they’re being rehoused in empty hotels?

Hotel rooms. Food being provided to them by local councils
