I totally understand why this is being done, it allows many people who may not have internet access or might not be tech savvy. However I wish the journalists would stop constantly asking when restrictions will be lifted. We simply do not know, there’s around a two week lag - ie: what we did a fortnight ago will impact us today (approximately). The officials and experts have to keep repeating themselves, why can’t people understand this? I know it’s frustrating living like this but.... we are still living nevertheless.
The daily regurgitation of the same question by presumably intelligent media professionals is a bit tiresome. I would have thought they’d be getting it by now.

Agree. - I understand why they are doing them but it feels so repetitive I’ve stopped watching them now. Theres not really anything new to say apart from the facts and figures which are on the news anyway.

I guess they’ll be criticised if they don’t but I don’t see much point. Media questions are pointless, despite their assurances there is no PPE on the frontline NHS where we are.

It feels vital, for information yet useless (due to some of the politicians' empty promises).

They are so much better without Boris Johnson, who just bluffs answers and seems to have an inability to admit to not knowing what's going to happen - which would be infinitely better than saying that we'd have things wrapped up in 3 months.
