Who else is ill?

So I think I'm onto day 10 of some sort of virus...I'm assuming it's COVID 19 but obviously no way of getting tested and symptoms have been random,. I started off with a cough but that has sort of disappeared to a tickly type of cough. Over the last 10 days I've been suffering with fatigue, headaches, sore throat no smell or taste (which has lasted nearly a week now) and severe muscle pain in my legs. I'm feeling utterly exhausted and with 3 children and a husband working from home who is doing his best but does have a lot of work! I don't feel like things are improving!
Just wondering who else is suffering? I see so many posts about what people are up to during lockdown and I seem to be lucky if I have managed to have a shower and not fall asleep during the day!

I’ve been ill for a month today , two weeks really unwell then a week of almost recovered and then a big slump - I can’t shake it off at all , my kidney function is struggling but I’m trying desperately to pull things around vs being hospitalised. My husband has been sick for 10 days now too with Covid 19 symptoms. I’m totally fed up and exhausted even making a sandwich is leaving me out of breath and needing a rest

I’m not sure what your definition of ‘kidney function is failing’ is but when we say ‘failing kidney function’ on the ward then it is extremely serious and I would suggest you contact NHS 111 asap

I have CKD so regularly have spells when my function drops but I can turn around by adjusting my meds , I know when it’s time to seek medical attention and not there yet but increasingly concerned by how long it’s taking to get over this virus. I am still peeing so that’s a good sign just running on zero batttery

My GP told me the trigger for intervention would be when I’m struggling to breath while sat down but that’s not happened - I think it’s just hanging around longer as also have Crohn’s disease so immune system is knackered

That’s ok the @mrsbyers. I was concerned you were persevering on and being a trooper when you should be in hospital. Hope you get well soon

Come over to the "my lungs" thread on here.
Loads of us on there with similar symptoms

Struggling with a tight chest - breathing not an issue when sat but walking upstairs makes me a bit dizzy and out of breath. No temp or cough so not sure 🤷‍♀️
