Use online banking to transfer it to someone else who can bring it over?

Or transfer to a prepaid card if you have one

If this is to pay for a tradesmen or cleaner, etc, check if they will accept a bank transfer

Do you have online banking? You could transfer money to a trusted person to take out for you. Otherwise you could do the same with a cheque.

It’s difficult. My dad is a particularly stubborn old man and only deals with cheques and face to face banking. We sorted him a atm card and he lost it.. we’re just about managing with cheques and a trusted person to cash them for him because we’re so far away.

  1. Do everything you can through online banking.
  2. Pay for essential shopping with a card, saves handling cash
  3. If you really cannot manage without physical cash, get it from a Post Office. You can do this with most banks.
Hope this helps
