Are the rest of us in the clear now?

DS started coughing 2 weeks ago today, and although he is still coughing it’s very mild and doesn’t seem to be bothering him at all.
The rest of us haven’t been ill, now it’s been 2 weeks since he first displayed symptoms do you think we are in the clear? Asking because DH has bad asthma.

According to the guidance for self-isolation, if you have no symptoms after 14 days, you can return to normal social distancing.

Without testing it's impossible to say whether anyone is in the clear in the broader sense, as it may be that your DS has had another type of infection or virus.

I hope his cough clears up soon.
