Just took in a package then touched my mouth

I just took in a plastic-wrapped package (containing an essential product for my baby, before anyone asks!) and immediately washed my hands with soap for 20 seconds. Then about five minutes later I subconsciously touched my mouth with my hand.

Have I put myself at risk?

No.

HoffiCoffi13 · 03/04/2020 13:28

No.

After you’d washed your hands - very unlikely. (And even before, unlikely)

TeddyIsaHe · 03/04/2020 13:29

No

Lumene · 03/04/2020 13:29

Unlikely.

If it helps, wash your lips/where you touched with soap and water.

SouthernComforts · 03/04/2020 13:29

Tell us why you think you are?

dementedpixie · 03/04/2020 13:30

Why would you be at risk if you washed your hands?

Stet · 03/04/2020 13:31

Well you didn't take in a package and touch your mouth. You took in a package, washed your hands and then touched your mouth. So where's the risk?

MoreGruel · 03/04/2020 13:43

No. The risk was very low before you took in the package, and non existent once you washed your hands.

PomBearsyummy · 03/04/2020 13:58

Yes you probably have just a few days left to life.

FFS you will be fine.

buttery81 · 03/04/2020 14:25

Thanks - sorry if I sound silly. I’m feeling very paranoid at the moment!

You were at a far higher risk a few weeks ago when you were going about life as normal and the virus was circulating in society.

Mysocalledlifexx · 03/04/2020 14:35
