MDD is in the police and has been able to work at home with 11-yr old DGS. She is a single parent and has to go into work one day next week and one the week after for important meetings. She has asked if the school will take him (not ideal as her timings don't coincide with school hours) and I'm trying to work out why I can't go over and stay with him. MH is a key worker so has not been isolating though I've only gone out for a safe walk each day. I understand that he might be incubating and pass on to me but surely the risk to my DD and DGS is the same if he goes to school and mixes with children from other families who are not isolating. Can anyone explain why I shouldn't do it? I'm not going to because she is following instructions to the letter and I don't want to undermine her, but I really don't understand. In normal circumstances he would be at the Easter Holiday Club as he hasn't been left for a long day before. Thank you in advance.
