My Nan is 90 with a lot of underlying health issues (but doesn’t make the criteria for critical vulnerable).

Three weeks ago I camped out with her as we’ve been relying on a family friend to run errands/food shop for us. Now that family friend isn’t shopping anymore (she’s realised she’s actually high risk herself) and I’ve been on the support groups on FB which aren’t much help.

I’m wondering what’s the probability of catching CV if I go shopping once a week - I’m thinking farm shop + Co-op (avoiding large supermarkets).

There’s no way I can stay 2m away from Nan as I have to lift her/help with personal needs etc. I’ve also been trying all online delivery places but absolutely nothing.

Go every 2 weeks instead and take precautions. Doesnt the council do food parcels for the vulneravle? Look on their wevsite. Age uk might know as well.

Can you get delivery from local shops?
