Massively increased prices

Months ago I wanted to get an indoor bike trainer but that £40 was needed for other things and I couldn't justify it. Now I'm shielded for 12 weeks and missing being able to get out walking and cycling and would really like one. I've looked again for a bike trainer and they've increased to £200!! A slight increase is one thing but to more than quadruple in price is disgusting

I'm sure it's not the only case of price hikes during this crisis and isn't essential I know, but it would have made my 12 weeks more bearable. I'm a very active person normally and after being in for 2.5 weeks already I'm wanting some exercise.

Food!!!

Paint, colouring pens and the like. Just went to order more supplies for work and it's so expensive now!

I tried to buy paint and felt tips for the DC and gave up. Too expensive.

Printer ink seems to have gone through the roof too.

Depends if it's the same bike trainer or a different "better" brand. When the gyms were closed inexpensive home gym equipment sold out overnight. Only the higher priced stuff is left now.

A relative runs a small local shop and they haven't put their prices up on anything, despite a lot of stock now costing them more to get hold of. However they have seen a lot of other small shops doing the opposite and putting prices up massively. In fact they have observed other people buying stock and celebrating about how much money they are going to make because of the current situation. It's disgusting!
