I live rurally so rely on online shopping. Obviously the system is under great pressure, but am I missing something? The system says that there are no slots available.. I would understand if they had been bookable.. but they have not been for over a month. So it is not due to filling up but just not released.. is that right?

No. They’re being released but being booked very quickly.

I done know what time each supermarket releases their new slots but I got lucky in the early hours the other night when I happened to be up anyway.

No, I think they are being snapped up the second they are released although I think Sainsbury's reserve theirs for vulnerable customers only.

Go on Tesco’s at midnight. They are snapped up instantly so you need to be very quick. I managed to get one at midnight as soon as they released the new slots a couple of days ago

Get on Tescos around 11.58 keep refreshing the page. Till the slots become available.The slots are for two weeks time

Tesco - I got one in 3 weeks time - click and collect though - at 2am.

I stayed up the other night for Tesco and on the dot of midnight the website crashed, I refreshed for about 20 minutes then gave up, it was like booking the Xmas slots as that happed to me then as well

I got a click and collect slot for Sainsburys the other day when I logged on in the evening. They went quick!

I have had some luck booking slots with Asda logging in the mid afternoon.

Just had an email from Tesco to say they are suspending my delivery saver fee and refunding half of March’s for inconvenience so I won’t bother trying to get a slot now as I am not in a vulnerable category and can shop at my local Waitrose until it is more normal
