I will be volunteering for the check in and chat role, anyone else doing this?

I'm a bit nervous about the type of calls I'll need to do, I guess I am worried I may not be able to answer all questions. I am looking forward to being a listening ear though.

Is it questions? I don’t know if they need me, but I thought it was more of a Samaritans style role - talk to someone to avoid loneliness, but don’t give advice. I hope we’re given answers if it’s questions!

@shellsandsunrises I meant questions that may arise during general chit chat, especially if the questions/conversation is about mental health. I could be overthinking it, it could just end up being a general conversation so that they have someone to speak to to keep them company
