A lighthearted (of sorts) thread for us to share what interesting meals we come up with if we haven't been able to purchase the food we normally eat.
I have a brexit box and cupboard but after over 2 weeks of being isolated things are starting to get challenging when it comes to dishing up something the dc will eat without moaning. The choices, or my imagination, are limited now and it's gone to show how spoilt we are normally. We tend to go and buy what we want rather than using what we already have.
Dd2 and I are quite rigid about food which makes it more challenging normally but even more so now. However, I very grateful that we do have food and am trying to make the best of it.
I am now shielded for 12 weeks and reliant on local volunteers to help which will make it even more challenging to keep our meals interesting and nutritious. I love cooking though and am determined to teach myself and the children new habits.
So please share your meal ideas and let's give each other some inspiration. Photos are a bonus
