Holiday booked for May?

Any idea how long before we get an update from the holiday company? The last one was they expected to resume flights at the beginning of May. Seriously doubt that is going to be the case.

I didn't book it so I don't have details to contact them myself

I'm due to go to Turkey with Jet2 on 16th May, all been paid for. I've not heard anything and their website only mentions holidays due to be taken before 1st May.

I'd forget it. No chance if any release from this until June at the earliest. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for August and I'm not hopeful due to the potential for a second Covid wave

I don't expect to be going away, just wondering if we will be offered a refund or have to change the date.

That was one of the questions I asked on my thread. My flight is at the end of June and I've almost lost all kind of hope.

I have a holiday booked in Madeira starting on the 30th May and I received an email from the hotel today saying that the hotel is closed until the 1st of June and they will be refunding us. Gatwick is closed so I will wait for BA to cancel the flight to get a refund. I imagine you will be hearing soon about your holiday.

I was due to go away on Friday and the agency only made contact last week. They specifically asked people not to make contact if the flight was not in the next 6 days.

I also think they will wriggle hard to get out of refunds. I was offered a rebook with 50 euros sweetener from Lufthansa, no option to cancel offered.
