do I need to self isolate just in case?

I can’t work out whether we have it or whether it’s something else or whether it’s all in my head!

I had 2 days last week of all day headaches, felt cold sometimes but no fever (slightly higher than usual - 37.4 was highest). Felt like I was getting a sore throat but never really emerged.

Off and on for last few days I’ve sometimes had a tight chest and sometimes feel like I’m suppressing a cough. Haven’t actually coughed though and put tight chest down to anxiety.
Also felt really tired one day last week.

DD was a bit flushed the other day. Temp 37.5 for 1 day. Coughed literally once this morning and complained of very slight sore throat yesterday. Otherwise fine.

Are we meant to self isolate?? Not been out anyway as it happens but if we needed to shop etc...? It’s so hard as on paper we haven’t got a fever & we don’t have continuous cough. We don’t really have a cough at all to be honest

It doesn't sound like coronavirus, but then it could be, some people do have it very mild.

Better to err on the side of caution maybe?

That’s why it’s so tricky and one of the reasons it spreads so quickly 😔

I am feeling you.... woke up with a tickly cough yesterday. Persisted through the day, I called Occ a Health who sorted out a test for me today. Have to wait for results before I can go in to work so will miss the rest of this week no doubt. Cough miles better today. Keep wondering if it’s in my head/making it up. No one else from my family or work has any symptoms so don’t think it’s can be Covid but it’s a bit of head fuck. I am lucky I am getting a test but I will feel a right shirking dick when it comes back negative.

I'm in the same boat and weve decided to self isolate.
I have a full on sore throat for a week, now lost my voice mucousy cough and tired but no fever at all and dont feel too bad all in all just a bit run down but I'll never know for sure so I've decided to stay in for 24 days

Surly · 01/04/2020 12:43

14 days that should be

I coughed more than seemed normal last Thursday and Friday (but certainly not continuous) , my throat felt a bit odd as if I was about to develop a cold, and I had a headache all day. No fever and felt absolutely fine, but decided to err on the side of caution and self isolate for 7 days. I have barely coughed since Saturday and the headaches and weird throat have stopped so feel a bit of a fraud, but have stuck with the self isolation.

I know, so weird isn’t it. Probably none of us have it! But would be good if we’ve got away lightly, although not good if people are spreading it about thinking they don’t have the right symptoms. I feel fine today
