Signing for deliveries?

Is this being waived at the moment?
I have a delivery arriving Friday saying it requires a signature and I’m worried I’ll be made to sign near the delivery driver? You can’t sign 2 metres apart without touching anything?

It's being waved and many are just taking a photo instead.

Most companies allow the drivers to sign for you at the moment.

I got a package yesterday and the driver signed for me, with my permission.

I’ve had a few packages and they usually knock, leave it on the doorstep and stand right back. Some take a photo of the open door.

Thank you. It’s good to know what practices are being put in place. It’s DHL.

Some companies will sign it for you.

(According to some on MN you must quarantine the delivery for 72 hours after.)
