A shopping question

So, we should all minimise our shopping trips in order to minimise the spread of C19.

At the same time, we should all buy the minimum we need/can get away with in order to leave essential products for others.

If you CAN go to the shop, you should, rather than take a delivery slot from someone more in need.

Am I the only one having difficulty squaring this circle? We are only 4 adults at home, can meet the going to the shop criterion, but still cant buy enough stuff for a whole week while at the same time ensuring we are not overybuying.

We are going on our weekly outing to the supermarket tomorrow. We have a very comprehensive shopping list and will be buying everything we need for the week.

Having said that I won't be buying 50 toilet rolls for example.

There isn't a shortage of food just an interruption to the supply for a while.
That's now being resolved.
